How can I order from Artificial Landscapes?

How much grass will I need for my garden
Measure the length and width at the widest point of your garden. Select which grass you would like to order and input these measurements into the website and it will automatically calculate how many square metres of grass you will need and give you a corresponding quote.
How can I pay for my order?
All major credit cards, paypal and bank transfers are accepted. We can set up accounts for trade customers. All our prices on the site are inclusive of VAT.
Do you cover my area?
We deliver anywhere within the UK, Islands and highlands of Scotland (postcodes beginning with KW, IV, AB, PH, DD and PA) are a little bit more expensive so please call us for a quote, we can also deliver to anywhere in Europe so once again please call for a quote on 01751 417776
Can I collect my artificial grass?
Yes, we are more than happy for you to personally pick up your artificial grass from us. Please discuss this with us beforehand so that we are able to advise you on the length of your grass roll and the weight so that if you need to, you are able to organise appropriate transport.
Will the grass drain?
Yes, our grass has drainage holes which allows water to drain through in exactly the same way it would in living lawn. To maximise grass drainage the use of crushed stone and sharp sand put underneath the turf during installation, gives a good drainage system beneath your lawn.
Is there any maintenance with artificial grass?
There is practically no maintenance with your artificial grass other than cleaning it if necessary (see question below). Regularly brushing your lawn every few weeks with a sweeping brush can enhance the look of your grass and keep the pile standing up and looking clean. Another advantage to brushing you grass is it prevents any naturally occurring moss taking hold on your lawn.
How do I clean my artificial grass?
Because artificial grass drains the same as what a living lawn would, you will rarely need to clean your grass, but if you feel that it does need a tidy up then in the first instance brush away any lose pieces of debris and then spray your grass down with your hose pip. If you feel it needs a deeper clean then you can pour hot soapy water on the grass and scrub it down with a stiff bristled brush and rinse away any suds with clean water. If your grass looks a little flattened after the cleaning process then simply use a sweeping brush to brush it back into place.
Is artificial grass suitable for pets?
Yes artificial grass is perfect for pets. Your pet will be able to enjoy rolling around on the grass 365 days a year. Gone will be the days of cleaning your dog after rolling through muddy grass! Artificial grass has drainage holes and which allows urine to drain through the lawn. Can I install Artificial grass on my current lawn?
It is not recommended to do this as the ideal base to lay artificial grass over flat, smooth and compact ground to prevent ridges and bumps. If you lay artificial grass on top of an existing lawn, the grass that is underneath will die and compact therefore causing an uneven surface. If however the surface of your current grass is level, smooth, and has good drainage this may be possible.
Is fitting easy?
Fitting is easy and we prepare the grass to make it as user friendly as possible and minimise your work. Artificial grass is designed to be fitted DIY so by following our step by step guide you should find it a walk in the park. How long will artificial grass last?
The length of time that artificial grass lasts for really depends on the grade of grass you choose and what it is being used for. We do however recognise that an artificial lawn is a long term investment and therefore we offer up to a 7 year guarantee on our grass. By cleaning excess dirt and regularly brushing your grass with a sweeping brush will enhance the life span.
Will the grass fade over time?
We protect our artificial grass with a UV inhibitor which prevents grass from becoming discoloured or faded. To prove how UV stable our grass is we offer up to a 7 year guarantee on our grass.
Will I be able to plant trees and shrubs at a later date?
Yes, artificial grass in very flexible and can easily be reshaped to accommodate new garden designs. You can quite easily cut out a piece of artificial grass to make room for a new trees, plants, and features. Only one thing to watch out for is to ensure there is sufficient depth and width for their trees and plants roots to grow into nutritional soil.
Can I get samples of artificial grass?
Yes you can, all you need to do is fill out our sample request form, our samples are sent out on the same day as they are requested by Royal Mail second class, if you were to need your sample urgently you can have the option to pay £5.50 for a next day courier delivery service.
Can I barbeque on it?
It is not recommended for you to do so as hot materials can damage the turf and although damaged areas can be replaced it is better not to risk it.
If I damage an area of the artificial grass do I have to have the whole lawn replaced?
No, you can easily replace damaged areas of artificial grass, so it is best to save or request an off cut after you have installed it to ensure a colour match just in case an area does become damaged.
